Operations

• Own and deepen relationships with our sponsor banks across all programs.
• Define the operational and technical strategy for how payments move across the Taekus ecosystem.
• Oversee card processing, ACH, wires, ledgering, settlement, reconciliations, returns, exceptions, and any other operational needs that arise as we scale.
• Build and optimize processes for disputes, chargebacks, fraud escalations, overdrafts, and exceptions.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor performance, risk exposure, and operational KPIs.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of debit and credit programs, ensuring compliance with network and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the internal escalation point for complex payment ops issues for the CX team.

Engineering Manager

• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and infrastructure disciplines, ensuring alignment on execution and quality.
• Oversee resource planning, sprint management, and release cadence to deliver features that blend banking-grade reliability with a premium user experience.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to define long-term technical architecture — spanning payments systems, card processing integrations, and travel rewards platform.
• Improve best-in-class engineering processes: CI/CD pipelines, code review standards, automated testing, observability, and security practices.
• Drive performance and availability across mission-critical systems including transaction processing, card management, and account services.
• Serve as a culture leader—nurturing craftsmanship, ownership, and collaboration while maintaining the Taekus standard of excellence.

VP of Engineering

• Lead ongoing management of sponsor bank relationships
• Create and manage banking operations processes for disputes, overdrafts, reconciliations, and escalations
• Track and coordinate customer disputes to ensure compliance with network and government regulations
• Monitor and manage overdraft activity, partnering with the CX team on resolution and customer communications
• Collaborate with the CX team to handle banking operations-related support tickets
• Serve as the operational point of contact for sponsor banks and internal teams
• Build scalable processes and reporting to track key operational metrics
