About the role

  • Develop, test, and optimize machine‑learning or generative AI models for the Vermeer project.
  • Collaborate with the colleague research team to integrate AI functionalities into the existing system architecture.
  • Implement data preprocessing, model training pipelines, and model evaluation frameworks.
  • Create clean, well‑documented code and contribute to the project’s technical documentation.
  • Propose technical improvements and scalable solutions based on the project’s needs.
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of AI components.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python for AI logic/scripting and Javascript/TypeScript for application development.
  • Practical experience with RAG architecture, prompt engineering, and integrating LLMs into functional web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and advanced GitHub workflows.
  • Experience in AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Firebase is a significant plus.
