About the role

  • Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Development and Campaign Director.
  • Responsible for the vision, design, and execution of a multi-million dollar gift planning program.
  • Serve as a critical architect of campaign success to generate over $10 million in annual revenue.
  • Manage a high-level portfolio of alumnae and friends to secure transformative gifts.
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance to fundraising teams.
  • Direct strategy for the College's legacy society and manage high-level volunteer committees.
  • Establish policies reflecting industry best practices and oversee relationships with external partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; a relevant advanced degree is helpful.
  • Eight to 10 years of experience in planned giving or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing complex or blended gifts at the 6- and 7-figure level.
  • Deep knowledge of the regulatory and tax framework underpinning a comprehensive gift planning program.
  • Advanced proficiency in gift planning software (e.g., PG Calc).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to engage with members of the Board of Trustees and their professional advisors on complex, leadership-level philanthropic strategies.
