About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overall responsibility for planning, implementing, operating and further developing modern IT systems and infrastructures
Ensuring high availability, performance and security of the system landscape
Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex incidents at 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Technical leadership and active participation in demanding IT projects (e.g., migrations, system modernizations, automation)
Preparation and maintenance of technical concepts, documentation and operational processes
Expert support and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed IT education (EFZ, HF, FH or equivalent)
Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer, ideally in a senior role
Very good knowledge of relevant technologies such as Windows, virtualization, networking, cloud and storage solutions
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, backup and security solutions is an advantage
Independent, structured and responsible working style with a strong solution focus
Very good spoken and written German; English skills are an advantage
