About the role

  • Define and own the technical vision, architecture, and long-term technology roadmap
  • Align technology decisions with business strategy and product goals
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend and backend developers
  • Oversee end-to-end development cycles, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery
  • Maintain and evolve the platform architecture for scalability and performance
  • Ensure security, compliance, and data protection best practices
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operations of all technology systems, ensuring high availability, resilience, and scalability
  • Work closely with the Head of Product to ensure features are feasible, well-scoped, and technically sound

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Head of Technology, CTO, or Lead Engineer in a fast-growing tech company (fintech or SaaS preferred)
  • Strong background in both frontend and backend development, with emphasis on frontend and expertise in modern frameworks and architectures
  • Experience scaling platforms with high reliability and security requirements
  • Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing tech teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, able to align tech and business priorities
  • Experience with B2C products / B2C SaaS
  • Experience or interest in tech stack: React Native, Django (Python), Celery, Kubernetes, Redis, AWS, PostgreSQL
