About the role
- Operate and improve virtual environments and network infrastructure
- Implement, migrate, and operate IT systems
- Analyze incidents and initiate appropriate remediation measures
- Develop scripts to automate processes
- Maintain technical documentation
Requirements
- Vocational training or higher education in computer science
- Several years of experience in a similar role as a System Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of network virtualization (e.g., VMware NSX) and experience with cybersecurity solutions and firewalls (e.g., Check Point, Fortinet)
- Scripting skills with languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Strong problem-solving skills and an independent, proactive working style
- Very good German and English language skills
