About the role
- Tactiq is an innovative software solutions provider focused on bridging retailers, manufacturers, and distributors within the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry.
- Support retail and vendor partners within a regional territory, building relationships and sharing insights and data.
- Conduct frequent travel and site visits to document vendor execution and consult on schematics, retail space planning, planogram execution and compliance.
- Coordinate and communicate planned events such as promotions, new stores, store resets, and other retailer-led initiatives.
- Act as liaison between Tactiq, retailer, and distributor network to develop, maintain and enhance business and resolve issues.
- Support research and sourcing of new distributors and products.
- Provide category insights and analysis leveraging Tactiq and retailer reporting, dashboards, and scorecards.
- Develop and facilitate recurring analysis and reporting on distributor performance, impact of lost sales, planogram compliance, and item void tracking.
- Create schematics using space/product rationalization; handle new item setup, item maintenance, promo/TPR setup, zone alignments, and maintain item/store lists.
Requirements
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (in business or related field).
- 2+ Years of distribution industry experience.
- 2+ Years of retail experience.
- Retail and/or food/beverage experience (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with schematic creation (preferred).
- Experience with MicroStrategy (preferred).
- Ability to travel every week within the specified region (CA, AZ, NV, WA, OR, ID, NM, CO, UT, NE, MN, IA, MT, and ND).
- Ability to travel minimum 95%.
- Located within 50 miles of Los Angeles.
- Experience working with retail and distribution partners.
- The ability to clearly, concisely and convincingly present data and insights.
- Proven experience in retail and/or distribution relationship management.
- Experience building and sharing reports and data with technical and non-technical resources.
