About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform daily sustaining engineering tasks and address quality issues
- Manage small projects to adapt and improve existing products
- Support new product development:
- Develop and design new and innovative products using internal tools (CAD, FEM, CFD) and external experts
- Develop innovative product and design concepts
- Evaluate product performance against specifications in collaboration with our testing laboratory
- Ensure correct application of internal rules and processes
- Produce technically accurate drawings in accordance with internal and official standards
- Contribute to cost and quality optimization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher Technical Diploma (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- More than 3 years' experience as a mechanical designer
- Strong knowledge of production processes for metal and plastic parts
- Proficient with 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks)
- Experience with tools such as FMEA (risk analysis), specification sheets, and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong teamworking and collaboration skills
