About the role

  • Design updates and engineering changes
  • Perform root-cause analysis of quality issues
  • Analyze product cost structures and identify cost-optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate in project teams on development, concept design, and sizing of new and innovative components for heating and sanitary technology
  • Conduct technical analysis of product concepts and competitor products
  • Support the Head of Product Development – Valves in further developing the team and processes
  • Define product tests and support the technical lab in executing tests
  • Provide technical support to other departments (e.g., documentation, functionality, product data)
  • Drive tasks consistently, remove roadblocks, and push initiatives to timely completion
  • Work with agility and flexibility across production, technical customer service, quality, and project teams
  • Deliver durable, high-quality resolutions to technical issues
  • Follow standard processes and deliver product documentation consistently and reliably

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • More than 3 years' experience developing mechanical components
  • Deep knowledge of production processes for metal and plastic parts
  • Strong experience with 3D CAD systems (preferably SolidWorks)
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong team collaboration skills
  • Experience with tools such as FMEA (risk analysis), specification sheets, and Microsoft Office
