About the role
- Contact prospective customers from approved list by telephone or email
- Use product knowledge to showcase the promotions being offered
- Use Business Intelligence tools to track progress with new prospects
- Report performance against weekly sales goals and objectives to Manager
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to discuss business needs and goals
- Solicit tobacco related orders to maintain adequately supplied Santa Clara inventory in all accounts
- Introduce new brands, sizes and packing to all accounts and customer contacts made
- Develop and maintain business relationships with B2B customers
- Quote prices to B2B customers, evaluate profits & margins, up sell, provide excellent customer service, process orders
- Prepare daily business recap of contacts/transactions made for manager’s review
Requirements
- 3+ years of Direct Sales Experience
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Proficient with MS office and Outlook applications. Salesforce, AS400, Five9 is a plus
- Strong work-ethic and flexibility to balance company and client business needs
- Solution-oriented
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Cigar knowledge and experience a plus
