About the role
- Lead Epic-related project initiatives (implementation, optimization, integration, upgrades) using Agile principles
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Epic analysts, IT engineers, clinical staff, and leadership to define and deliver project objectives
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and expectations
- Document and track user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks or roadblocks to ensure project success
- Maintain alignment with compliance standards, data privacy regulations (HIPAA), and change management best practices
- Deliver timely status reports and project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Cultivate strong client relationships and maintain T2 Tech’s reputation for excellence in delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of IT project management experience
- At least 2 years focused on Epic EMR-related projects
- Solid understanding of Epic modules such as Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, or others
- Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven experience leading Agile teams in a healthcare or consulting environment
- Ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and manage competing priorities
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills
- Experience in healthcare IT environments, especially with provider organizations like hospitals or health systems
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar Agile/PM certification (preferred)
- Previous consulting experience with healthcare IT or digital transformation (preferred)
- Experience using Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps) (preferred)
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare integration standards (preferred)
- Ability to translate technical discussions into clear business terms for non-technical audiences
