About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for designing, developing, adapting, and implementing solutions to meet our information technology needs
- Work closely with Quants, Portfolio Managers, and Analysts to define requirements and testing strategies
- Review and interpret system requirements and business processes
- Play a hands-on role in coding, testing, debugging, and deploying software solutions
- Utilize internal tools to manage AWS-based services
- Integrate with RESTful and GRPC APIs
- Contribute to unit and integration testing and maintain CI/CD pipeline
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of progressive experience working with Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Application Load Balancers, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, and others
- Experience with Python frameworks and tools (e.g., NumPy, Pandas)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with multiple programming paradigms (object-oriented, functional) and solid grasp of software design patterns
- Dedication to quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration/delivery
