About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards using data from multiple sources
- Connect Power BI to Microsoft Azure DevOps and other systems to support portfolio and execution reporting
- Perform data transformation, modeling, and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Create clear, well-structured visualizations that translate data into meaningful insights for leadership
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and refine dashboards as requirements evolve
- Design and develop advanced Power Apps solutions as an expert-level developer
- Enhance and maintain existing Power Apps used to manage products, projects, documentation, and workflows
- Manage and prioritize Power Apps development backlogs and deliver improvements in an iterative manner
- Integrate Power Apps with Power BI, Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, and other Microsoft tools to improve usability and efficiency
- Develop Power Automate workflows to automate tasks and connect data, applications, and systems
- Reduce manual effort and improve consistency across tools and processes
- Design automation solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with operational need
- Use Microsoft Azure DevOps as a primary data source for Power BI reporting
- Develop dashboards that support portfolio management, delivery tracking, and performance measurement
- Apply a strong technical understanding of Azure DevOps data structures and reporting capabilities
- Design dashboards and applications aligned with SAFe concepts, particularly portfolio management and execution tracking
- Ensure solutions support leadership visibility into priorities, capacity, schedules, and delivery
- Apply SAFe context to solution design so outputs are practical and relevant to program operations
- Work closely with program teams, analysts, and leadership to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Provide documentation and guidance to support adoption of Power Platform tools
- Support change efforts by helping teams transition to new reporting and workflow solutions
Requirements
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) in complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards that use multiple data sources
- Experience integrating Microsoft Azure DevOps with Power BI for reporting and metrics
- Working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), particularly portfolio and execution concepts
- Ability to translate business needs into clear, effective technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical audiences
