About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a high-traffic retail environment
  • Use digital tools and solution-based selling to educate customers and demonstrate T-Mobile products and services
  • Recommend wireless solutions and onboarding approaches that help customers self-serve and use the T-Mobile app
  • Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, products, processes, systems, and resources
  • Review personal results, promotions, and Hub updates to remain Customer Ready
  • Partner with nearby store locations to fully onboard customers
  • Practice skills, share knowledge, and perform store operations and opening and closing procedures
  • Carry keys to kiosk cabinets, secure kiosks and assets, and report lost keys or assets to the manager
  • Build rapport, trust, and loyalty while providing exceptional customer service
  • Proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales
  • Follow up with customers, capture referrals, manage Be Back processes, and build new and existing customer relationships
  • Perform price overrides for specialty National Retail offers
  • Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support account setup, device support, and account servicing
  • Meet sales performance targets and quality-of-sale metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience (preferred; retail environment preferred)
  • Knowledge of coaching, communication, consultative selling, customer communications, customer education, customer engagement, customer needs identification, customer referrals, customer satisfaction management, customer service, leadership, product knowledge, relationship building, sales, sales prospecting, and sales techniques (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
