About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and develop engineering managers and staff to achieve performance and behavior objectives
Engage cross-functionally with department leadership and vendors to advance major initiatives and resolve operational issues
Contribute to budget development and allocate resources to meet financial objectives
Develop and approve network design documents for new systems and feature deployment
Ensure development and execution of test plans for major releases and key features following engineering best practices
Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or related field (Preferred)
7–10 years of technical management experience in a large corporate IP, IT or wireless service provider networking environment (Preferred)
7–10 years of experience in budget forecasting and budget tracking with a high degree of accuracy (Preferred)
7–10 years of experience creating and communicating technical and financial business cases to senior management (Preferred)
7–10 years of experience managing RFI/RFP processes, capital acquisitions and contract negotiations (Preferred)
Experience setting and achieving organizational objectives and goals (Preferred)
Experience in an AI start-up environment
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Willingness to travel
