About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising internal clients on legal issues related to consumer-facing products, experiences, initiatives, services, offers, and communications
- Supporting a variety of internal client groups, for example: Marketing, Consumer, Business-to-Business, Go-to-Market, Communications, Product, and Digital teams
- Providing legal counseling on a broad range of issues implicating consumer protection laws, advertising and marketing practices, contract interpretation, and regulatory compliance
- Partnering with business stakeholders to assess legal risk and develop practical, creative solutions that align with business objectives
- Developing a working knowledge of T-Mobile’s products, services, and business operations to effectively support internal clients
- Collaborating with other members of the Legal team to ensure consistent, practical, high-quality legal advice
- Exercising sound judgment and operating independently on day-to-day matters while escalating issues appropriately
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to, and good standing with, at least one U.S. state bar
- 2–4 years of experience as a practicing attorney, including experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with internal business partners
