About the role

  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Sales Managers
  • Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field while fostering teams and development
  • Build a culture of confident leaders and help eliminate internal roadblocks
  • Identify and build strong relationships with internal and external partners
  • Create and implement key operational initiatives while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards
  • Independently generate leads and referrals through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
  • Negotiate and close deals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Sales, Marketing or related field (Preferred)
  • More than 10 years Outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years People management responsibilities (Preferred)
  • 2 years telecommunications / technical sales (Preferred)
  • Exceptional coaching skills, including the ability to mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential (Required)
  • Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one-on-one, ensuring clear and engaging delivery of information (Required)
  • A proven track record of high-yield business sales success, demonstrating the ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets (Required)
  • Well-honed negotiating and closing skills, including effective communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving to achieve favorable outcomes (Required)
  • Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes to attract and retain top sales talent, ensuring a strong and capable team (Required)
  • Ability to manage large geographically located teams, providing leadership and support to ensure team cohesion and performance (Required)
  • Ability to accurately forecast sales results, use data and insights to predict future sales performance, and inform strategic decisions (Required)
  • Proven leadership abilities, including inspiring and motivating teams, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive and productive work environment (Required)
