About the role
- Aligns buy plans with current demand forecasts to optimize inventory levels across all locations and are in alignment with corporate goals
- Oversees annual spend in Network/Data Center sectors, spearheading requisition processes and securing executive approvals
- Leads weekly cross-functional meetings to address exceptions, mitigate supply disruptions, and promote alignment across product lines
- Develops strategies to address supply chain or OEM-related challenges
- Enhances the performance metrics of the IPP (Invoice Processing Platform) team
- Contributes to the operational efficiency and goal achievement of the organization through strategic supply chain management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience or equivalent experience
- 4-7 years Experience in supply chain planning and inventory management in the telecommunications sector
- 4-7 years Experience in leading cross-functional teams to address supply chain disruptions and align product lines
- 4-7 years Experience in developing and implementing strategic supply chain management solutions
- Strategic Planning - Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency and meet organizational goals
- Deep understanding of supply chain processes including procurement, inventory management, and logistics
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to address and resolve operational challenges effectively
- Proficiency in using analytical tools and methodologies to evaluate supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain strategies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective stakeholder engagement
- Experience in managing change, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes or systems within the supply chain
