About the role

  • Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking up-market
  • Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services
  • Recommend wireless solutions with regard to price plans, data and other enhanced services, handsets, and accessories
  • Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Partner proactively with Retail Stores in assigned territory to drive Business Sales results through education on Business Sales products and services and closing on Business Sales leads
  • Fully apply all sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools
  • Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting
  • Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends, and the competitive dynamics of the marketplace
  • Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years outside sales experience with demonstrated history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment
  • Preferred 2 years experience solutions/applications selling
  • Preferred 2 years telecommunications / technical sales
  • Task Management Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking (Required)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail (Required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required)
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. (Required)
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations (Required)
  • CRM Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
