About the role
- The AP Specialist will receive general supervision and direction from the Accounts Payable Analyst and/or the Accounts Payable Manager
- AP is responsible for working with the Site Managers and insuring that property-related vendors are paid in a timely manner
Requirements
- Review Invoices at the AP Step as submitted by the Site Manager or Regional Property Manager
- Process Live or Manual checks for Open Payables
- Process SD refund checks
- Process any invoices that are received directly by the corporate office
- Work with the Accountants and auditors when requests for invoices or other information related to Accounts Payable
- Respond to questions from Community Managers or Vendors timely
- Utilities experience preferred
- Yardi experience preferred
- Respond to questions from Site Managers or Vendors via tickets, emails or calls
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Managed properties in portfolio
