Distribution Sales Manager
Systemair UKDistribution Sales Manager leading execution of sales in North America for ventilation solutions provider. Responsible for driving revenue growth and developing the sales team in a distributed environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead execution of distribution sales within the assigned market, aligned with North American strategy.
- Responsible for leading OEM and key national accounts.
- Translate North American objectives into clear regional targets, priorities, and action plans.
- Identify market opportunities, competitive risks, and growth opportunities within the assigned market.
- Lead, manage, and develop the North American distribution sales team, fostering a positive and safe work environment.
- Support human capital processes related to hiring, performance management, and employee development.
- Deliver national revenue, margin, and market share targets.
- Establish and maintain consistent sales rhythms, including forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance tracking.
- Ensure disciplined use of CRM, sales metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Execute pricing strategies in alignment with established frameworks in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Execute distributor strategy, including segmentation, coverage models, and engagement plans.
- Ensure consistent value messaging and execution across all distributor channels.
- Collaborate with marketing and internal stakeholders on demand generation, campaigns, and brand positioning.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field required.
- Previous experience in distribution-based, B2B, industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Previous experience in a sales leadership or similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with sales software and tools preferred.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required.
- Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Familiarity with the HVAC industry is an asset.
- Organizational and time management skills required.
- Previous experience with quality control and process improvement preferred.
- Technical skills required for computers and tablets.
- Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently.
