Solutions Engineer

• Lead discovery sessions with client stakeholders to uncover business drivers, risk tolerance, growth plans, and modernization priorities
• Design and architect secure, scalable, lifecycle-aware solutions across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, storage, backup, virtualization, and Modern Workplace
• Translate business and technical requirements into logical and physical architectural designs
• Develop detailed quotes with accurate scope definition, labour forecasting, and pricing alignment
• Drive quoting strategy balancing competitiveness, profitability, and delivery realism
• Present and justify solution designs to technical and executive audiences and secure stakeholder buy-in
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, lifecycle impacts, and implementation constraints early in the design phase
• Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to ensure solution accuracy and successful handoff
• Perform peer reviews and quality assurance on presales architecture
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to presales maturity and architectural governance
• Act as escalation authority for complex, high-risk, or strategically sensitive opportunities
• Maintain and promote SysGen’s core vendor stack and competitive positioning
