About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create load maps for outgoing trucks and print for loaders
Assign trucks to doors for all routes based on size and cube
Print invoices for outgoing trucks
Inspect loads that are designated on the special instructions report.
Verify that the special-order items are selected and placed on the correct pallet.
Validate that the weights are correct on the catch weight variation report.
Check any reshipped orders if necessary.
Review any new accounts that are being delivered.
Set up driver bags with correct invoices for days deliveries
Email out all necessary end of the night paperwork and recaps
Complete food safety paperwork each night
Batch shorts for re-selection
Re-assign workforce if needed
Research product that could not be found via a short chaser (warehouse out).
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent.
Experience: 1-year prior warehouse experience preferred.
Professional Skills: Computer skills with a working knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
Physical Demands: Employee must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and squat throughout an eight-hour shift (plus overtime).
