About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide analytical and administrative support to the Quality & Food Safety team
- Perform basic data analysis using spreadsheets and other tools to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings
- Maintain accurate and organized records of quality and food safety data, including audit reports, inspection records, corrective action plans, and training documentation
- Assist with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Quality, Merchandising, Operations) to ensure specification accuracy and alignment
- Maintain specification records in internal databases and document control systems
- Assist with change management activities related to product updates or revisions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a university or college program (e.g., Food Science, Agricultural or related discipline)
- Proficient understanding of meat cut specifications for beef, pork, poultry, and other animal proteins
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Ability to learn and use new software and databases
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and regulations (HACCP, GMPs)
- Ability to take clear, accurate photographs for product specifications and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
- 0-2+ years of experience
