Customer Support

• Answer incoming calls and emails from customers and Sales Consultants (SCs)
• Research and provide information such as ETA, customer history, order tracking, delivery issues, proof of delivery
• Provide order history information and pricing
• Process orders (new, cancellations, additions), invoices, credits/returns and respond to inquiries
• Manage back orders: check ETA, stock availability, offer substitutes
• Research and obtain ETA, proof of delivery, shipment tracking and returns information
• Prepare and send customer order acknowledgments
• Inform SC and customer of procedures, order status and problem resolutions
• Follow up verbally or in writing to ensure customer satisfaction
• Review and resolve delivery issues, shipment discrepancies and back orders
• Review and process Adjustment Request Forms or Return Material Authorizations following approval
• Review exceptions to shipping policies with management
• Participate in Sysco Thrive, vendor and other company training programs
• Communicate regularly with Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse departments
• Maintain safety and environmental reporting responsibilities
• Perform other duties as assigned
