About the role
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions, maximizing profitability and achieving sales targets
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple categories, identify variances, and conduct root cause analysis to inform corrective actions and improve overall performance
- Develop and deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior management
- Lead and manage data-driven projects, including the development and implementation of new analytical models and the integration of new data sources
- Collaborate effectively with merchandising managers, sales teams, and other cross-functional teams to share insights, support decision-making, and drive successful business outcomes
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and category management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry associations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the foodservice industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape
