Business Development Rep

• The purpose of the role is to lead Business Development activities in the Americas in support of the strategy of geographical diversification
• Working closely with the Marketing, Sales, and technical service teams, the Business Development Manager will be the driving force in identifying and developing relationships with new prospects in existing and new markets
• Enable growth of our existing product portfolio or specification of product innovation requirements
• Develop a full understanding of the regional market shape and size for existing markets and scope out potential adjacent market opportunities by completing deep market analysis to identify market opportunities, trends, needs, and growth areas
• Collaborate with the marketing director carry out analysis to develop regional insights into commercial and technically driven trends and opportunities that will enable growth into new Specialty focused end market segments and applications
• Prospect new business by establishing contacts and building relationships with new customers, gauging their needs and developing solutions to address these needs
• Develop persuasive proposals to convert potential customers managing the relationship through to first commercial sales
• Ensure robust management of change process in place for transferring customer ownership to the sales organization
• Collaborate with Customers, R&D, Technical Service, Sales and other internal teams to drive innovation and commercialization of high-impact new product development projects
• Support the development of a robust business case on these new product development projects providing market insights that support the project financials and continuously monitor market developments through to first commercial sales
• Define the Americas regional 5 yr growth plan for new business growth working in collaboration with the sales and technical team to deliver
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with trade associations and attend conferences to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends

Sales

• Develop and execute a consistent commercial strategy to strengthen market position and enhance profitability in alignment with the overall BU objectives
• Drive and support sales team efforts to deliver agreed business targets—volumes, revenues, profitability (by product and territory), and working capital
• Identify gaps to the budget and define specific actions to close them; proactively assess, manage, and communicate progress toward plan, including contingencies
• Adopt and ensure the use of commercial excellence tools across the sales team to enable effective sales strategies and best practices
• Ensure accurate forecasting by the team and actively participate in the Demand Planning process within IBP to maintain a reliable monthly sales outlook

Sales Director – Coatings

Payroll

• Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing in the Workday HRIS system with support from external service vendor
• Review, audit and reconcile all hourly timekeeping and payroll-related documentation
• Administer the Workday timekeeping module in partnership with the HRIS team
• Ensure timely collection and processing of employee time with HR Business Partners
• Oversee payroll inputs, deductions and monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting
• Provide administration oversight and strategic direction for payroll and tax processing
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time and in compliance with regulations
• Prepare and submit required reports/payments to government agencies and insurers
• Partner with Accounting on payroll-related accounts payable activities
• Act as primary contact for external payroll and tax service providers
• Review and approve W2 and 1099 filings, including corrections
• Support 401(k) administration with the U.S. Benefits Team
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Train backup payroll administrators and participate in special projects
