About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end Interactive Avatar API, including the SDK, integration patterns, documentation, real-time experience quality, beta-to-general-availability path, and roadmap
  • Engage with developers and beta teams to understand integrations, API friction, real-time behaviors, and production-readiness needs
  • Translate customer and developer insights into product direction, sequencing, and strategy
  • Partner with engineering and research teams on specifications, quality-versus-latency-versus-cost trade-offs, and product context
  • Partner with go-to-market and commercial teams to package, price, and sell the API
  • Define and track metrics covering adoption, integration success, real-time quality, reliability, and commercial performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in product
  • Direct experience owning a developer-facing API, SDK, or platform product
  • Experience operating in an early-stage 0→1 environment where discovery and delivery happen in parallel
  • Strong technical fluency with real-time systems, latency, and integration trade-offs
  • Strong written communication, including writing specifications, strategy documents, and API design rationales
  • Real-time or streaming media, conversational AI, or applied-AI product experience is a strong plus but not a prerequisite
  • Instinct for the commercial side of developer products, including adoption, packaging, and monetization, is a plus
  • Based in Seattle or open to regular in-person time
  • Acceptance of at least 3 days per week in the Seattle office
