About the role
- Facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of the SAP MM module.
- Conduct detailed analyses of complex business processes to identify, interpret, validate, and document client requirements.
- Lead workshops to gather stakeholders' operational requirements.
- Map operational requirements, processes, and key objectives; develop necessary product changes to meet client needs.
- Design, customize, configure, and test the MM module.
- Identify gaps, issues, and alternatives in existing processes.
- Act as a liaison with clients to resolve software-related issues through investigation and analysis.
- Manage urgent changes or transports for high-priority issues as needed.
- Document design specifications, test scenarios, and results.
- Proactively identify and implement business process or system improvements.
- Provide consulting services for new sites and ongoing support projects.
- Deliver ad-hoc user training and support as required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' experience on SAP MM implementation projects, including at least one full lifecycle, with experience in design and configuration.
- Knowledge of key integration points with other SAP modules, including PM and QM (experience in these areas is a plus).
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables, and projects simultaneously.
- Experience in professional services or distribution companies is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting business processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, as this role requires interactions with clients, partners, and international subsidiaries.
