About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and deliver courses: Plan and lead instruction in a hybrid format (partly remote, partly on-site) for the specializations Application Development (AE) and/or System Integration (SI).
- Practice-oriented teaching: Translate complex learning objectives into clear, digestible learning units and enrich them with examples from your own IT practice (e.g., programming, networking, IT security, cloud).
- Exam preparation: Systematically prepare participants for IHK (German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) final exams, including targeted practice tasks, intensive reviews and constructive feedback.
- Agile learning processes: Facilitate eduScrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily, Review, Retro) and ensure a smooth, agile workflow in day-to-day learning.
- Team development: Promote collaboration and self-organization within learner groups and support them with strong conflict and feedback management.
- Additional support initiatives: Develop targeted measures for lower-performing participants and work closely with our Student Success Team.
- Development and improvement of teaching materials: Create practical learning materials in close cooperation with our product team. You are responsible for the subject-matter and didactic quality of the course and for continuously improving and updating course content and assignments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics).
- A plus: A valid AEVO certificate (trainer aptitude qualification).
- IT background: At least 2–3 years of practical professional experience in IT, for example as an IT Specialist, software developer, system administrator or in a comparable role.
- Language and communication: Fluent German skills (min. C1) and strong communication abilities that allow you to present learning content clearly and motivatingly.
- Passion for teaching and learning: You enjoy imparting knowledge and actively supporting learners in their development.
- Independent work: You work autonomously and explain complex topics logically and comprehensibly.
- E‑learning affinity: You have an affinity for (online) teaching / e-learning and web-based learning programs.
- On-site availability: You are available for assignments in the Hamburg or Bochum area.
