About the role

  • Email marketing campaigns: You design and implement email marketing campaigns and newsletters, including segmentation and automation, and apply best practices.
  • Lead nurturing: You manage the entire lead lifecycle, from first contact (welcome email) through product-specific campaigns to nurturing flows that support and activate leads over the long term. You independently build email flows and funnels to systematically qualify prospects and drive conversions.
  • Channel management: You operate new channels and platforms (e.g., Indeed, the Federal Employment Agency (BA) job board, etc.) with relevant content and ensure incoming emails are processed.
  • Marketing and sales collateral: You keep our materials (course brochures, flyers, one-pagers, etc.) up to date and ensure they speak to and inform our target audiences. You work closely with our graphic designer on creative execution.
  • Content marketing: You implement content marketing ideas such as blog posts, success stories, interviews, and e-books, always with an eye on our full content funnel. You understand how to tailor content for different audiences and course offerings and deploy it across channels.
  • Social media: You also manage our organic social media channels with a focus on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, preparing course and success-story content in visually and textually engaging ways.

Requirements

  • Email and content marketing experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in email and content marketing, preferably from a fast-growing startup, and you can demonstrate measurable successes from your campaigns.
  • Creativity: You develop creative content ideas from concept through execution.
  • Copywriting skills: You can write persuasively and evoke emotion.
  • Agility: You enjoy working in an agile environment and have a good eye for processes, quickly identifying areas for improvement.
  • Structured approach: You work goal-oriented and in a structured way, demonstrating high standards of care and attention to detail.
  • Independence and proactivity: You like to work independently and take ownership. You keep an overview even when handling multiple simultaneous challenges.
  • HubSpot knowledge: Experience with HubSpot (or a comparable CRM) is a strong advantage.
  • Communication: You speak and write excellent German and ideally have strong spoken and written English.
Benefits
  • A business with purpose: You’ll work on topics that are economically, socially, and politically relevant (digitalization, Germany’s economic competitiveness, labor market policy, equality, technology, etc.).
  • Rapid learning curve: You’ll be onboarded quickly and will take ownership of operational topics and processes shortly after joining.
  • Responsibility and scope to shape: As Email and Content Marketing Manager you’ll be involved in many areas and work directly with the CMO.
  • Dynamic startup environment and flexible work: We value results over prescribed workplaces and hours and give you the flexibility you need to perform at your best.
  • Long-term perspective: We offer a permanent contract and the opportunity to grow within the organization according to your skills and preferences.
  • Attractive package: In addition to a market-competitive salary and deep insight into all business areas, you’ll benefit from a discounted Urban Sports Club membership and high-quality company devices (MacBook, AirPods, etc.).
