Key responsibilities & impact

Manage embedded Linux system lifecycle including security patches, updates, and long term support
Implement and extend features on Linux based embedded measurement platforms
Develop and maintain hardware related peripheral drivers for connected measurement devices
Build and integrate industrial and IoT communication interfaces for device connectivity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep Linux Expertise: Strong knowledge of system configuration, instrumentation, security, permissions, power management, and memory management
Yocto Framework: Hands-on experience building and maintaining embedded Linux distributions with Yocto
Cybersecurity Knowledge: Experience with FOSS handling, SBOM generation, CVE tracking, and patch management
Driver Development: Proven experience developing hardware-related peripheral drivers
Industrial Interfaces: Familiarity with IoT and industrial protocols (e.g., Profinet, IEC61850, MQTT)
Tooling & Workflows: Experience with automated workflows, GitLab, Jira, and CI/CD practices
Documentation Skills: Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation
Language: Fluency in English.
