About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • During your practical training in our state-of-the-art laboratories, you will acquire qualified knowledge in all relevant laboratory tasks and gain extensive expertise in the following areas:
  • Hematology (study of blood).
  • Clinical chemistry (study of the chemistry of body fluids).
  • Histology / Cytology (tissue and cellular analysis).
  • Microbiology (study of microorganisms).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You are a team player (m/f/d) and have a passion for the natural sciences (biology/chemistry) and modern technology.
  • You have successfully completed secondary school (Realschulabschluss) or the German university entrance qualification (Abitur) with good grades.
  • You are studying in a scientific field but would now prefer practical, hands-on training.
  • You are highly self-directed and well organized.
  • You work very carefully and have the sensitivity and fine motor skills required for handling laboratory samples.
  • You meet the health requirements for laboratory work (up-to-date vaccinations, no chemical sensitivities).
