About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning and execution of construction, renovation, and optimization projects in the laboratory environment. You will make a significant contribution to the further development and future viability of our sites.
Management of complex construction and transformation projects for laboratory and administrative sites.
Development and implementation of technical optimization projects with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Analysis and development of space and utilization concepts (layouts, densification, functionality).
Planning and implementation of technical solutions in the areas of HVAC and building services (TGA), taking into account the specific requirements of laboratory environments.
Establishment and implementation of modern, future-proof laboratory and building structures.
Ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, and quality objectives across all project phases.
Coordination of internal and external project participants as well as active stakeholder management.
Support during commissioning, relocations, and site-related transformation processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in civil engineering, building services/utility engineering, or a related discipline.
Several years of experience in construction and project management, ideally in laboratory, healthcare, or industrial environments.
Solid knowledge of HVAC and technical building equipment (TGA/building services).
Experience implementing optimization projects (e.g., space planning, layouts, processes).
Understanding of complex technical, structural, and operational interrelationships.
Strong skills in interface and stakeholder management.
Analytical, structured working approach and strong execution capability.
Willingness to travel nationwide for projects and desirable presence at the Augsburg site 1–2 days per week.
