About the role

  • The HR Business Analyst II serves as a key analytical partner to HR and business stakeholders, taking ownership of complex reporting, advanced data analysis, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prepare, validate, and distribute recurring HR reports and dashboards with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform data analysis using Excel and other tools to identify data issues, trends, or inconsistencies.
  • Support ad-hoc and recurring reports from Workday.
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time to internal stakeholders, including HR leadership and business partners.
  • Conduct data audits and reconciliations to maintain data integrity across HR systems.
  • Own deliverables end–to–end, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity in outputs to diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards (advanced, DAX, RLS models) and support optimization of reporting capabilities.
  • Manage daily HR case activity through the HR Service Delivery platform (e.g., Workday Help, ServiceNow), ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Serve as the first line of support for HR-related reporting inquiries, escalating complex cases as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in HR reporting, HR operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, lookups, charts).
  • Advanced knowledge on Power BI, storyboarding, and generating descriptive insights.
  • Good understanding of HR metrics and concepts such as headcount, turnover, and attrition.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to assess data for accuracy and context.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to data quality.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
