About the role

Provisioning and operation of sophisticated IT systems based on Amazon Web Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Supporting the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud
Implementing our governance, compliance and security requirements together with our cloud platform team
Expertise in monitoring, backup, update/patch and release management
Ensuring continuous operation by monitoring and troubleshooting cloud resources and services
Automating processes for provisioning and managing cloud resources using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
Cross-functional collaboration with other teams to define and implement technical requirements.

Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable field
Several years of experience in the AWS cloud environment and in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions and applications while adhering to security and compliance standards
Extensive experience with Linux, network technologies and concepts, and proven security practices
Willingness to specialize in and adopt new technologies
Automation using CloudFormation, Terraform and Git/Bitbucket is second nature to you
You communicate confidently within the team, with service providers and with our customers, take responsibility for your work and enjoy solving tasks collaboratively
Very good English skills, written and spoken, and good German skills.
