About the role
- Develop and manage cloud-native solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using terraform.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipelines or other CI tools.
- Develop utility scripts and tools using python or shell.
- Utilize DevOps tools including Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, Spinnaker etc.
- Build and deploy docker images.
- Implement Disaster Recovery solutions on-premises or in the cloud.
- Collaborate using agile tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
- Develop unit tests for CI/CD pipelines.
- Align infrastructure provisioning practices using Terraform and Cloud Foundation Fabric.
Requirements
- 12+ years of Hands-on experience developing and managing cloud-native solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Hands-on experiences with core cloud services (storage, networking, firewalls, DNS, databases, applications, data analytics, compute, container services) in GCP.
- 6-8 years of Hands-on experience in programming and scripting technologies like Java, Python, Groovy, Shell, Go.
- 5-8 years of Hands-on experience in designing and developing IaC automation using terraform.
- 5-8 years Hands-on experience designing and developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Pipelines or other CI tools.
- Hands-on experience in developing utility scripts and tools using python or shell.
- Hands-on experience in using DevOps tool set Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, Spinnaker etc.
- Experience in building and deploying docker images.
- Knowledge of implementing Disaster Recovery solutions on-premises or cloud.
- Experience working with agile tools preferably Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
- Experience developing unit tests for pipelines.
- Knowledge of 12 factor app methodology.
- Different Network Topology Environment either 1 or 2 of these experience they need to have Hub-and-Spoke Topology or Mesh Topology.
- Use Case GCP using Terraform is a common practice to align infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with Terraform and Cloud Foundation Fabric in GCP.
- Hybrid Topology (On-Prem + Cloud) experience.
- Assured Workloads experience knowledge.
- Migration experience, what they have done and how they have handled Cloud Foundation Fabric Knowledge.
