About the role

  • Develop modern, responsive web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript
  • Take responsibility for clean code, security and performance
  • Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers
  • Perform testing and code reviews
  • Optimize the SDLC with a focus on high quality
  • Actively share knowledge and support others as a mentor in pair programming

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field, or vocational training with equivalent professional experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend, backend or full‑stack development
  • Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, JUnit), TypeScript (Angular, Jest, Vitest), databases (MariaDB, MySQL, Hibernate, Liquibase), APIs (REST, Swagger) and Docker
  • Experience working in Scrum with Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence
  • Additional experience with Jenkins, Git, Linux, Helm and Kubernetes
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and business‑fluent English at C1 level
