About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and support Neo4j graph database services for analytics teams
  • Ensure availability and consistency of multiple Neo4j databases and accessibility to applications
  • Set up and operate multi-node Neo4j clusters for scalability and high availability
  • Perform Neo4j database administration and data storage design
  • Troubleshoot database performance issues and address bottlenecks
  • Monitor systems and their performance using observability platforms
  • Deploy and manage applications running on Kubernetes clusters
  • Debug large and complex cloud-based systems
  • Install and configure Bloom, GDS, and Linkurious Enterprise software
  • Troubleshoot Linkurious issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources and ensure data quality and consistency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5+ years of technology experience, or 7+ years of technology experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of database management experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing data platforms
  • Significant experience with Neo4j and Cypher query language
  • Expertise in graph-driven data science applications, including graph feature engineering, graph embeddings, or graph neural networks
  • Experience building enterprise-level standards and gold images for provisioning
  • Experience with Neo4j encryption solutions
  • Experience with Neo4j backup and recovery methodologies
  • Experience with Neo4j high-availability architecture, clustering, and multiple data centers
  • Experience with LDAP-based authentication and authorization for Neo4j
  • Experience in high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions
  • Extensive experience monitoring systems and performance
  • Experience deploying observability systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, and Splunk Logging
  • Extensive experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes, including administering Kubernetes clusters
  • Ability to debug large and complex cloud-based systems
  • Experience installing and configuring Bloom and GDS software
  • Experience installing and configuring Linkurious Enterprise software
  • Minimum 5+ years of database management experience
  • Strong collaborative relationship-building skills across IT and business levels
  • Ability to drive change across business and geographical boundaries
  • Expertise in technology evaluation, solution engineering, architecture, and deployment of new technology
  • Superior decision-making, client relationship, and vendor management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Demonstrated competency linking business strategy with IT technology initiatives
  • Proven track record leading and executing critical business initiatives on time and within budget
  • Availability between 06:00 AM and 11:30 AM Eastern Time for meetings with India and US teams
