About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a defined territory/set of accounts
  • Conduct outbound telephone consultations with clients to educate them on the value of credit and its use in improving financial offerings
  • Develop and maintain external client relationships at store/station, market/jobber, regional, and district levels
  • Drive application, sales, and station engagement performance for the assigned territory
  • Implement targeted strategies for underperforming territories/accounts within defined risk parameters
  • Support sales and marketing campaigns
  • Develop and deliver client reporting and analysis packages with Client Development/Sales Support
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions covering the credit program, compliance requirements, and campaigns via conference call and WebEx
  • Provide support to Field Sales Managers for shared territories/accounts, including post-visit follow-up calls
  • Receive and manage inbound client calls regarding marketing campaigns, training follow-ups, program questions, and concerns
  • Assist with client escalation and resolution processes
  • Deliver organizational Quality Assurance standards
  • Capture all client interactions in Salesforce
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 1 year of telephone sales/field sales experience in the financial services industry, or 3 years of sales experience in an unrelated industry
  • Ability to use various software programs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Willingness to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints during onboarding
  • Ability to satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available
  • Spanish/English fluency desired
  • BA or BS degree desired
  • CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, desired
  • Professional and consultative selling skills with emphasis on influencing others to take action
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Analytical thinking and excellent presentation, organization, communication, and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, potentially including overtime and weekends
