About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build software by writing code
Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new requirements or hardware, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces
Monitor real-time system error notifications
Research system logs to assess impact
Remediate and deploy fixes for systems integration issues and platform defects
Direct system testing and validation procedures
Direct software programming and documentation development
Consult with internal groups, partners, and customers on project status and proposals
Work with internal groups on software system design and maintenance issues
Analyze information to recommend and plan new system installations or modifications to existing systems
Confer with project managers to obtain information on system limitations or capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field experience
2–4 years of industry experience
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to digest complex projects or customer issues and devise effective solutions
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Framework, Vue.js, or React
Experience with server-side platforms such as Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript/Node.js
Experience with relational databases is a plus
Experience with modern version control and CI/CD systems such as GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket
Ability to collaborate, communicate, and work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Willingness to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
