About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build software by writing code
  • Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new requirements or hardware, improve performance, and upgrade interfaces
  • Monitor real-time system error notifications
  • Research system logs to assess impact
  • Remediate and deploy fixes for systems integration issues and platform defects
  • Direct system testing and validation procedures
  • Direct software programming and documentation development
  • Consult with internal groups, partners, and customers on project status and proposals
  • Work with internal groups on software system design and maintenance issues
  • Analyze information to recommend and plan new system installations or modifications to existing systems
  • Confer with project managers to obtain information on system limitations or capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field experience
  • 2–4 years of industry experience
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to digest complex projects or customer issues and devise effective solutions
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as Spring Framework, Vue.js, or React
  • Experience with server-side platforms such as Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript/Node.js
  • Experience with relational databases is a plus
  • Experience with modern version control and CI/CD systems such as GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate, and work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation, and submit fingerprints as part of onboarding
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
