About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support services to the Chief Security Officer Organization and related Physical Security, Executive Protection, Crisis Management, Security and Fraud Investigations, and Facilities teams
  • Interact with SCM senior leadership, multifunction employees, and outside advisors
  • Plan and create meetings and manage busy, complex calendars
  • Provide logistics and planning support for the Executive Protection Team
  • Arrange complex travel plans and events and prepare or reconcile T&E and Purchase Card reports
  • Book online flight reservations and coordinate travel and meeting logistics
  • Use company software programs, including Microsoft Office, Coupa, and Concur
  • Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Coordinate activities, meetings, and on-site and off-site events with outside parties
  • Design and create presentation and proposal packages with graphical content
  • Ensure documents are posted accurately and timely for meetings and conference calls
  • Develop detailed project requirements and guide internal cross-functional teams
  • Create and maintain project documentation in knowledge repositories related to partner technology integration, products, and processes
  • Provide administrative support for weekly project and stakeholder calls
  • Attend staff and team meetings
  • Manage sourcing and purchase order processing
  • Assist Facilities Management with supplier management
  • Support Synchrony’s Fleet Management program
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ years in a project manager/administrator role, specifically supporting corporate security and facilities operations
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, communication and computer skills
  • Ability to discreetly handle confidential information
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and self-confidence
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to multitask
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining confidentiality
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints
  • Must satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
  • Employer will not sponsor employment visas
