About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a defined territory and set of accounts
- Conduct outbound telephone consultations with clients about credit benefits, strategies, rates, terms and conditions
- Develop and maintain external client relationships at store/station, market/jobber, regional and district levels
- Drive application and sales/station engagement performance for the assigned territory
- Implement strategies to increase engagement in underperforming territories and accounts
- Support sales and marketing campaigns
- Develop and deliver client reporting and analysis packages
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions on the credit program, compliance requirements and campaigns
- Support Field Sales Managers with shared territories and post-visit follow-up calls
- Receive and manage inbound client calls regarding campaigns, training, program questions and concerns
- Assist with client escalation and resolution processes
- Deliver organizational Quality Assurance standards
- Capture all client interactions in Salesforce
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 1 year of telephone sales or field sales experience in the financial services industry, or 3 years of sales experience in an unrelated industry
- Ability to use various software programs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years or older
- Willingness to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints during onboarding
- Ability to satisfy Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required
- Synchrony will not sponsor employment visas for this opening
- BA or BS degree desired
- Spanish/English fluency desired
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce, desired
- Professional and consultative selling skills
