About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide hands-on analytic support to projects tied to the SYF Consumer Bank within Digital Platform Analytics
Handle day to day analytic requests for Consumer Bank team
Proactively manage all analytic projects with weekly status updates
Work hands-on and lead various projects from ideation to presentation
Manage, coach, and develop a team of 5 analytics professionals
Develop and apply advanced analytics to optimize business outcomes
Partner with Analytics CoE teams to drive best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with minimum 8+ years of experience in building analytics to drive strategy with positive outcomes and measuring impact
Minimum 4 years of experience in managing people, developing talent
Minimum 6 years of hands-on SQL and SAS programming experience
Hands-on analytical skills, including coding, Tableau, and working with diverse data sources
Familiarity with statistical methods and tools such as decision trees and regression
Advanced development of dashboards and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Birst
Strong understanding of targeting and segmentation, analytic tools, and advanced skills using Excel and PowerPoint
