About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead teams and the organization on how to best use Agile principles/frameworks and effectively leverages appropriate best practices.
- Act as Scrum Master for assigned Scrum/Kanban teams, facilitating ceremonies such as, stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Manage Sprints - keeping order, process, delivery, priorities accurate and on time.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand the expected product functionality and customer requirements.
- Assist in removing team impediments, and track and maintain metrics.
- Create, assess, update and maintain agile documentation.
- Lead projects in Waterfall to Agile methodologies.
- Support transition to Agile.
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5+ years of experience
- Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 6+ years of IT experience, or in lieu of a degree minimum 8+ years of experience.
- experience with Jira, Agile, and other project management tools
- Minimum 5 years of working in Agile transformation as a Scrum Master
- Hands-on experience in agile, scrum master, project manager roles
- SAFe Agilist, SAFE Scrum Master certification is a must
