About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in a cross-shore development team
Review Pull requests and provide feedback to developers
Own and work with dev team on deliverables
Control and improve the code quality in the team
Implement culture of learning in the team
Influence and collaborate to create amazing APIs
Participate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teams
Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixes
Work with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our products

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree
3 years modern application development experience (classroom or professional) OR, in lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED
5 years of experience with cloud native application development using Java
Familiarity building and consuming web services via SOAP and REST
Familiarity with common Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot
Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
Familiarity with continuous integration environments
Familiarity writing unit and integration tests
Familiarity with JSON, REST and XML based web services
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence clients, team members, management and external groups
Strong attention to detail in a team environment
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
