About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical leadership for building and enhancing on‑premises data warehouse solutions and accelerating migration to AWS, including Amazon Redshift.
Understand and manage the data needs of stakeholders in a single business vertical.
Responsible for design, development, testing oversight, and production implementation using on‑prem RDBMS platforms, Ab Initio, SQL, and AWS.
Partner with information architects, platform architects, data scientists, and product management on solution requirements.
Lead the technical team to ensure appropriate data solutions to meet business goals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Technology in the consumer banking industry OR High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in Technology
Strong experience and understanding of ETL, data warehousing, Cloud technologies (AWS) and analytics concepts.
Strong engineering skills in on-prem RDBMS/data warehouse platforms, Ab Initio (GDE/Co>Operating System), advanced SQL, and AWS, including Amazon Redshift.
Strong cloud engineering skills with AWS, including hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift and related data services.
Experience with large scale relational database and public cloud (AWS preferred) environments.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with globally located Agile teams working in different shifts.
Ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with Technology and Business Stakeholders.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Adept at presenting complex topics executing with timely/actionable follow-through.
