About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, independently manage and deliver portfolio analytics solutions.
  • Provide hands-on analytic support to the PayPal as and when required and proactively manage analytic projects with weekly update on timeline, status, and resource allocation.
  • Spearhead analytics delivery for new product launches, value propositions, customer acquisitions, lifecycle marketing and customer experience initiatives.
  • Work on analytic solutions catering to business priorities and provide solutions to optimize business value and customer experience.
  • Create test and learn culture through ongoing assessment of marketing programs/campaigns.
  • Participate in internal initiatives beyond core project work.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Analytics Partners, sales and marketing leaders to effectively communicate the value proposition and enhance client engagement.
  • Develop impactful presentations that tell a compelling story using data, highlighting actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Explore and adopt latest tools and techniques in the industry and leverage them for business growth including initiatives to promote the use of open-source technologies.
  • Actively discuss the projects, showcase & support implementation and calculate business impact.
  • Deliver projects adhering timelines, accuracy & compliance with meticulous project management.
  • Proactive & regular communication with Stakeholders on Projects & People

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ years of hands-on relevant analytics experience or in lieu of a degree min 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in building analytical solutions to drive positive outcomes and to measure impact
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on SQL and SAS programming experience with an ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data sets
  • Good working knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skills
  • Ability to work in matrix organization, make and enable data driven decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity/ambiguity and multiple initiatives
