About the role
- Plan, coordinate, and track VMware virtualization projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including charters, scope, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, budgets, schedules, and risk management.
- Work with resource managers, technical staff, and business stakeholders to orchestrate project delivery.
- Define and manage overall project risks, taking corrective action to mitigate risks and prevent issues.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding project status, schedule, budget, and risks to stakeholders.
- Follow project management methodologies and ensure adherence to defined processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of project processes and templates.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical project management experience, preferably with VMware projects.
- Experience leading virtualization or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- PMP or Agile/SCRUM certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
