About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute data-driven projects supporting internal operations and commercial growth initiatives
- Transform raw customer data into actionable insights
- Support network optimization engagements and develop analytics tools for bids and supply chain performance
- Apply mathematical modeling techniques including linear and mixed-integer programming, regression analysis, and systems of equations
- Design, evaluate, and implement operations research solutions for network design, network optimization, distribution capacity projection, inventory planning, and demand forecasting
- Process raw customer data for cost and pricing analytics, network optimization solutions, and competitive bids
- Manage end-to-end network optimization projects, including facility location analysis, capacity planning, transportation flow optimization, and cost-to-serve modeling
- Support strategic decisions regarding new sites, warehouse capacity expansion, and network infrastructure investments
- Help transition Excel-based analytics and workflows into scalable software-platform applications
- Guide requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery
- Build and maintain customer-facing analytics dashboards
- Lead development, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI agents to automate analytics and improve operational efficiency
- Report to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Design & Analytics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience executing supply chain analytics projects, such as network optimization, inventory optimization, and demand forecasting
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with network optimization platforms such as Supply Chain Guru
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Adaptability in a dynamic startup environment with shifting priorities
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive task ownership
- Up to 10% travel may be required
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive and/or fly to client and customer locations
- Ability to own a credit card and manage expenses personally for bi-weekly reimbursement
- Preferred: exposure to AI agent development, deployment, and evaluation
- Preferred: experience with Agile/Sprint methodologies for project or product development
- Preferred: exposure to warehouse automation and its impact on end-to-end supply chains
- Preferred: strong Python coding skills and experience with Tableau or Power BI
- Preferred: effective data storytelling skills
